I wish that every person could have Debbie Lucas as their realtor. From our first phone call, I had no doubt that she was the person I wanted to sell my house. In our first meeting, I appreciated her even more when she told me how she would market and what she felt my listing price should be based on other homes in the area. Debbie did back-to-back open houses 4 days in a row for 2 or 3 weekends and was always present when the house was shown to give the full details of the property and its gardens. This was especially important to me since I had not yet moved out. What really sets Debbie apart however, goes far deeper than the nuts and bolts of real estate. Beyond being very knowledgeable, she was tuned in to the needs of all parties and was able to communicate in a way that allowed for creative solutions to come forth when needed. I contacted another agent and after three days of non-responsiveness reached out to Debbie and in less than 3 hours she reached out. I met her the next day and within a week of listing had two offers and a 15-day closing at the asking price. Debbie was so friendly and knowledgeable. She came prepared with portfolios of houses in the area currently on the market, from the previous six months and a slew of information on what we were competing with and the range of offers we might expect. She did nothing but exceed my expectations every step of the way. Considering I am in Virginia and the house is in Calabasas, CA, it was comforting to know I was in such good hands. I would recommend Debbie to anyone who needs someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and responsive and generally has your best welfare in mind at all times.

She showed meticulous attention to detail from providing insights in staging the home to ensuring the required documents were completed properly (the other party’s agent submitted a number of documents that were either incorrect or incomplete). Debbie was diligent; making many calls to the other party to ensure the process stayed on schedule when they started missing deadlines. Her positive outlook and her desire to keep my interests the priority made one of life’s more stressing events (selling a house) less stressful.
